AC and DC Current Source type WPPS-300 is designed for checking and regulations of protection automatic devices supplied with AC and DC current e.g. current transformers, overcurrent and voltage relays, releases thermal protection, switch contacts etc. during start-up and periodical tests. It enables:

• determination of instrument transformer ratio,
• controlling and setting of protection automatics systems,
• determination of release operating threshold,
• determination of self-times of switches,
• determination of resistance of switch main contacts.

WPPS-300 is designed for continuous operation in full scale regulation of all output circuits. Device is equipped with digital readout of forced current, voltage and measured time. Digital stop watch is controlled by changes of status obtained: no-potentially or by any voltage signal. Current source is protected from damage and has got resistant case with ABS.
For special demand the current source can be made in protection
class II, IP 67.
